(TUESDAY) Just a LIIIL' extra is [still VERY] GOOD!

For whatever reason, today I felt "energized & strong."

I told my trainer exactly that.  Of course, I didn't wanna JINX myself, so I told him during my BIKE ride toward the END of my workout.  The rest of my exercises went pretty much as follows:

-- Walking on the parallel bars forward and backwards and sideways

   ... 20 calf raises

-- 20 bicep curls on left arm with 10 lb dumbbell (+2 extra)
-- 30 regular bicep curls and 20 hammer curls on right side with 15 lbs (+2 extra)

-- 10 isomeric leg extensions with my trainer's resistance on the left leg

-- HIP-ups: 140 total but 90 reps and rest and then 50 reps
(NEW RECORD!)

-- Tricep extension 2 sets each arm
... 2 sets of 15 reps on the left side with 10 lbs
... 2 sets of 15 reps on the right but 1st set was with 15 lbs and the 2nd set was 10 lbs

-- 30 ball hamstring curls with 2 legs but also single leg hamstring curls 20 reps with each leg

-- ~16 minute BIKE ride

(SUNDAY) WOWZA--GOOD fun with GREAT company!

...

A FABULOUS friend of my brother invited him & me to a Miami Marlins HOME-baseball game last night.  IIIII think we UNDERestimated both how heavy-duty the traffic as well as how poorly engineered the stadium's setup is.  By the time we nestled into our [absolutely AMAZING] seats directly straight behind home plate (but some 100 or so rows up), 'twas already 3 to 3 in the top of the third inning.

(Regardless, my van has a radio.)

Sooo, the Marlins eventually won 5 to 3, & we had a GREAT time.  We wised up AFTER the victory: We hung out at our cars & kinda tailgated on the roof of a parking lot, as we waited for the crowd to disperse.  As a result, the ride home was much quicker & smoother.  Then, we all played [drinking] card games & schmoozed.

P.S. I was promised there'd be a REPEAT-ballgame in the [NEAR?] future.

(FRIDAY) July 7 -- YOUUU set 'em UP. III knock 'em DOWN.

-- Walking on the parallel bars forward and backwards and sideways

   ... 20 calf raises

-- 20 bicep curls on left arm with 10 lb dumbbell
-- 30 regular bicep curls and 20 hammer curls on right side with 15 lbs

-- 10 isomeric leg extensions with my trainer's resistance on the left leg

-- HIP-ups: 135 total but 85 reps and rest and then 50 reps

-- Tricep extension 2 sets each arm
... 2 sets of 15 reps on the left side with 10 lbs
... 2 sets of 15 reps on the right but 1st set was with 15 lbs and the 2nd set was 10 lbs

-- 30 ball hamstring curls with 2 legs but also single leg hamstring curls 20 reps with each leg

-- ~17 minute BIKE ride

--> Almost directly after my workout, I met with my brother & my publicist for some filming of my documentary.
... Also, he & I finalized the preparatory plans for a bunch of us (weirdos) to attend a Marlins baseball game tomorrow.

(THURSDAY) (JULY 6) "A day that will live in IIIIIIN-famy!"

...

Today--July 6--has had a HORRIBLE history for me.

It marks the 15 year anniversary of ... the WORST day--by faaar--of my ... 13,969 days of existence.  As a sign of my determination to make this day a more JOY-FULL celebration than ... my DEATH, (Yeah, that ACTUALLY happened.) I finally ... let loose my bodily WASTE!

WHEW!

As a slightly more tangible indicator of necessary celebration, I started my morning on page 96 of the 19th book I'm writing & finished for the night all the way up on page 111.

YAAAY!

... Also, my brother visited to hang out & to watch movieS.

(TUESDAY) NOT a pleasant [metaphorical] "INDEPENDENCE" Day!

One one [SPECTACULAR] hand, my right arm feels fabulous.  I agree with my trainer, when he GUESStimates that--since "it's displaying [arguably] the same strength & mobility as before [my] arm injury, [he]'d say that [I am] fully healed."

--> I acted out my USUAL workout:

-- 20 bicep curls on left arm with 10 lb dumbbell
-- 30 regular bicep curls and 20 hammer curls on right side with 15 lbs (+ 1 extra 'cuz I could)

10 isomeric leg extensions with my trainer's resistance on the left leg

Push-ups 135 total but 85 reps and rest and then 50 reps ... to TIE my all-time record

Tricep extension 2 sets each arm
-- 2 sets of 15 reps (+ 5 extra 'cuz I could) on the left side with 10 lbs
-- 2 sets of 15 reps (+ 5 extra 'cuz I could) on the right but 1st set was with 15 lbs and the 2nd set was 10 lbs

30 ball hamstring curls with 2 legs but also single leg hamstring curls 20 reps with each leg

Walking on the parallel bars forward and backwards and sideways

Calf raises 20 reps

~16 minute BIKE ride

On the other, less promising appendage, I FAILED to spring my bowels loose from my/their rectal incarceration.  (audible SIGH) I did NOT grant it ITs spacial independence from my lonely butt.
BUMMER.

... Oh, well.  I'd rather WAIT 'til tomorrow, 'cuz there are factors that will make my excrement more likely to be more SOLID & painLESS.

(FRIDAY) JEEEEEEEEZ! I AAAAAALMOST forgot to blog.

... It's a DAMN GOOD thing I have so much free time.  Well, my workout was VERY MUCH the same today:

-- 20 arm bicep curls on left with 10 lbs
-- 30 regular bicep curls and 15 hammer curls on right side with 15 lbs (+ 1 extra 'cuz I could)

10 isomeric leg extensions with my trainer's resistance on the left leg

Push-ups 135 total but 80 reps and rest and then 55 reps

Tricep extension 2 sets each arm
-- 2 sets of 15 reps (+ 5 extra 'cuz I could) on the left side with 10 lbs
-- 2 sets of 15 reps (+ 5 extra 'cuz I could) on the right but 1st set was with 15 lbs and the 2nd set was 10 lbs

30 ball hamstring curls with 2 legs but also single leg hamstring curls 20 reps with each leg

Walking on the parallel bars forward and backwards and sideways

Calf raises 20 reps

~16 minute BIKE ride

P.S. I explained to my trainer, just WHY I always perform the last repetition of ANY/ALL exercise extra SLOOOWLY--to demonstrate ...
CONTROL.
